tiffany glass, a feather stuffed couch, and a special Shou Sugi Ban bench, combine to give a warmth to this room difficult to achieve in a grand mansion. The couch is nestled in a reading nook, next to the dormer window which has a commanding view over the front of the estate, and up and down mansion row. The bathroom is tiled with hand made Mexican tiles, has antique woodwork, and a beautiful walk in shower. As one guest described it, “The room was nicer than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in, with a heated floor in the bathroom, spacious shower, and luxurious shower head.” Outside the room is a huge two-story sunlit atrium.
