The Minnesota Frost, the PWHL’s back-to-back Walter Cup champions, open their 2026-27 home schedule on Sunday, Dec. 13, against the Seattle Torrent at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul. From there, the home dates run through the winter and into April. If you want to make a weekend of it, 300 Clifton, our historic Georgian mansion in Loring Park, is a warm place to land between periods of a Minnesota winter.

When are the Minnesota Frost home games in 2026-27?
These are the home dates listed on the Frost’s official schedule page as of Oct. 9. The league lists times in Eastern, so subtract an hour for Minnesota. Every home game below is at Grand Casino Arena.

Where is Grand Casino Arena, and how far is it from 300 Clifton?
Grand Casino Arena is at 199 Kellogg Blvd. W. in downtown St. Paul, according to Visit Saint Paul. 300 Clifton is across the river in Minneapolis, so plan on a short rideshare, drive or transit trip. We won’t promise a travel time, because it changes with traffic and game-night crowds. Metro Transit’s trip planner will give you live options for your date.
Why stay in Minneapolis for a Frost weekend?
Most of the winter dates are weekday evenings or Sunday afternoons, which suits a two-night trip. Arrive Saturday, enjoy Loring Park and downtown on foot, catch the Sunday 1 p.m. game, and be back for the evening. For the Dec. 13 opener, that means booking Saturday, Dec. 12.
After a cold arena, the four-season garden hot tub is hard to beat, and it is open under the winter sky. If you would rather stay in, the movie room has heated recliners. Our guest rooms, from the Crystal Mansion to the Hayloft, are described on their own pages on the 300 Clifton site.

What can you do the rest of the weekend?
Every guest who books direct gets a $20 dining voucher per stay at the Pillsbury Club and a $20 voucher per stay toward a ride on Minneapolis Trolley Tours, as listed on our vouchers page. The Club requires a reservation, so check its visit page for hours before you plan a post-game dinner.
Heading downtown for something else? Our earlier guides to Target Center concerts this November and Gopher basketball at The Barn can help you stack events, and if you are coming for New Year’s, see where to stay for New Year’s week in Minneapolis. Need a month rather than a weekend? Oakland’s on 9th offers furnished, month-to-month studios downtown.
How do you book?
Check the schedule above, pick your game, and book your room directly with 300 Clifton to receive the vouchers. Get tickets to the game itself through the Frost and the PWHL. We can’t confirm availability for every date. We will have the hot tub warm and the porch lights on.
