When Loring Park fills with music, color, and 650-plus vendors the last weekend of June, the smartest move in Minneapolis is to skip the parking hunt entirely. Twin Cities Pride 2026 lands on Saturday and Sunday, June 27–28, right in the park 300 Clifton calls home. Stay with us and the festival is quite literally out the front door.
Pride weekend at 300 Clifton, right on Loring Park
300 Clifton is the historic Eugene J. Carpenter Mansion, a National Register landmark widely considered the finest Georgian architecture in Minnesota. It also happens to sit a short stroll from the heart of the Loring Park festival grounds. That location is the whole point during Pride: you can wander over to the three stages and the beer garden in the afternoon, walk back to the mansion to cool off, freshen up, and head out again for the evening without ever moving your car.
The 2026 Pride Parade rolls on Sunday, June 28, starting at 3rd & Hennepin and heading down Hennepin Avenue to Spruce Place — an easy walk from our front steps. Come back to a quiet, leafy block when the crowds thin, and the contrast between the buzzing park and our hushed English gardens feels like a small miracle.

A room for every kind of Pride weekend
Our boutique guest rooms each tell their own story. Couples celebrating an anniversary lean toward the romantic Crystal Mansion or the elegant Grand Edwardian; friends turning Pride into a reunion love the character of the Coachman’s, Blacksmith’s Forge, and Hayloft rooms. Hand-painted murals, carved fireplaces, and a century of craftsmanship mean no two stays feel the same. Browse the rooms and book direct — direct bookings include a daily $20 breakfast voucher to the neighborhood Nicollet Diner, which is exactly the kind of restorative the morning after a long Pride Saturday calls for.
The garden hot tub and Gertrude’s Cistern
After a day on your feet in the sun, the four-season hot tub tucked into our secret garden is the reward. Soak under the stars on a warm June night and the festival feels a world away, even though it’s just around the corner. When you want a nightcap with a little mystery, slip down to Gertrude’s Cistern — our speakeasy and haunted video lounge, complete with heated reclining seats and a story or two about who might still be lingering in the mansion.

Beyond the park: easy summer adventures
Pride weekend rewards a little wandering. Cross the Irene Hixon Whitney Bridge from Loring Park and you’re in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the country’s largest urban sculpture garden, free and open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight — the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry photo is right there waiting. For ideas beyond the garden, Meet Minneapolis keeps a running list of what’s on around town all summer.
Want to see more of the city without the driving? Hop aboard Minneapolis Trolley Tours for a vintage-trolley spin through the neighborhoods, lakes, and landmarks — their things-to-do guides are a great way to fill the spaces between Pride events. If your group is in the mood for something atmospheric and a touch theatrical, the haunted Pillsbury Club pours spooky themed drinks in a speakeasy-style bar and runs year-round mansion tours.
Staying longer, or traveling with a crew?
Pride is the kicker of a packed Minneapolis summer, so plenty of guests stretch the weekend into a week. If you need more room to spread out — or you’re coordinating friends flying in from out of town — our sibling property Oakland’s on 9th offers furnished, month-to-month studio apartments downtown, a practical home base for longer or larger stays.
